I wanted to extend an offer to you. I will be going to see a couple plays in the next few weeks that I would love to have as many of my students attend as possible. The first of which will be " How I Learned What I Learned" at Portland Playhouse. I saw this show a couple weeks ago, and I thought it was so remarkable and that all of my students should see it. It is a one man piece, and the tickets can be pricey, but we can get a group rate! I just will need to know how many students we are looking at having attending. We could get these for $10. THIS WILL BE ON NOVEMBER 2nd @ 7:30pm
The second show is “In the Forest She Grew Fangs” at OCT. This play is presented through the Young Professionals group. This group is a group of high schoolers, auditioned after middle school. Many da Vinci alum have auditioned in the past and have trained with this group and loved it. A couple da Vinci alum are in this performance in fact (ones that were here before our current 8th graders, but still wonderful da Vinci kids!) This play is suggested for 14+. If we get 8 or more than we can get $8 tickets. THIS WILL BE ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 13th @ 2:00pm!
PLEASE E-MAIL ME BY MONDAY, OCTOBER 31st (HALLOWEEN) TO RESERVE TICKETS.
